Do you do web site makeovers?
Absolutely, but first we analyze your existing site and determine what does work and what doesn't. I don't believe in throwing the baby out with the bath water. Sometimes it is just an organizational issue, while sometimes it's more complex. Your expectations are key to any redesign. If they are unrealistic I'll address it right away. Some redesigns are invisible and take place inside your HTML code where search engines discover what your web site is all about. The old adage, "Build it and they will come", can't be further from the truth. But we can design a site that will be found by search engines.
I don't have the time to update a web site, can you help?
Certainly. If I've designed your web site, future updates and expansion will be part of the concept. Quite often I will revise copy or add new products at a very low cost. By creating a custom template for you, updates can be as simple as cutting and pasting. Most updates happen within 24 hours.
I'm not sure how much I want to spend on a new web site.
If you are unsure about what you want to spend, revisit your expectations and goals. We've all heard of companies making fortunes on the internet. And we've also heard of companies going bust. Web sites are just one component of a total business. Marketing, promotion, and business concept will determine it's success. I'm a firm believer in starting small, learning from experience, adapting to the market place and then growing.
What shopping cart solutions do you endorse?
I have used UltraCart.com for my site www.wetzelandcompany.com and have reccommended them to my clients. They are a full featured 3rd party service and their price is right.
What host do you use?
I have been a GoDaddy.com Hosting Plans fan for many years. I use them because they are inexpensive. reliable, and full featured. What more can you ask for.
